Dear Perfusion Community,
I have attached my resume in regards to your opening for a full time position as a cardiovascular perfusionist. I recently graduated from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside School of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
I believe that the education and clinical exposure I have received has effectively prepared me for a position as an independent clinical perfusionist.
Throughout the course of my program I have been fortunate to experience multiple clinical sites with various equipment utilized within them as well as each facility’s operating room staff. In turn, this experience has enabled me to strengthen my already adaptive personality to function within any type of environment and still maintain the highest standards in working with cardiopulmonary bypass machines and the patient’s care and safety.
It is my goal to take the knowledge I have acquired and transition it to a live work environment that will allow me to continue learning and growing in the areas of cardiovascular surgery, blood conservation and extra-corporal life support systems.
In being exposed to the various aspects of perfusion, I have taken a particular interest in aortic disease and blood conservation techniques. I want to carry on an already solid foundation I have established by continuing to work for a perfusion group that provides a high standard of patient care expected of the perfusion staff in their hospital.
I look forward to hearing positive news from you with an interview in order to discuss further details of the job opportunity at your earliest convince.
